This meeting brings together some of South Denver's leading health care, medical technology and supporting companies, economic development and workforce development leaders to brainstorm on creating a blueprint for the growth of the area's health economy. Mission: To advance the reputation and development of high-tech medical treatment, medical technology and related supporting industries in South Denver as a growth ‘engine’ of the Colorado economy.

 

Three targets the project aims to meet:

 

Goal #1: Promote the Health Corridor to attract new investment to expand and develop five targeted areas of the South Denver medical economy:

 

·                     High-tech medical treatment services

·                     Centers of medical education, training and continuing professional development

·                     Advanced medical technology companies

·                     Medical and non-medical support services

·                     Support facilities that advance the industry

 

Goal #2: Promote the Health Corridor as the ‘career location of choice’ for medical professionals, health innovators and medical graduates.

 

Goal #3: Assist property owners or sector companies on specific development projects.
